Kaitlyn dancing her jig

Kaitlyn dancing her jig at the Missouri River Irish festival...she has come so far and did so awesome! So proud of her!

Kaitlyn dances at The Missouri River Irish Festival

So it's only Saturday of this long weekend and I feel like we've already gotten our fill! Aside from last night's visit to our Church's Homecoming festival and swimming lessons this morning, Kaitlyn danced this afternoon at The Missuri River Irish Festival in Historic St. Charles, Missouri. She did a fantastic job! IT was SO hot, the dance instructor decided NOT to have the girls wear their wigs. It was 93 degrees at dance time. Enjoy the pictures below and I will also be posting a video. ALSO - try to watch America's Got Talent on NBC tuesday night. A group of dancers from The Clark Academy of Irish Dance (where Kaitlyn takes her classes) auditioned for the show and will be a "feature". Not sure what that means, but we know they will be on! Check it out and enjoy! Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

Last Day of school!

Well, another school year has come to a close. With it brings a lot of excitement and tears (from me, of course!). Kaitlyn is now a Kindergartener! Hard to believe that she is old enough to be in kindergarten! Brady has also "graduated" from the My First School program at The Magic House. He learned so much in his class and is ready to move on to "big boy" preschool - if we can conquer potty training! Below are some first and last day of school pics of the kids. Its so neat to see how much they have grown in one school year's time. Lots of fun is planned for this summer and we will take full advantage of the all the fun things summer brings!

Swimming Lessons

So the kids have been taking swimming lessons at the Arnold Rec Center. This was their third week and they are both doing very well. Brady's is a "tugboat" and still requires an adult to be in the water with him. Kaitlyn is a "powerboat" and is in the 4ft deep water with 3 instructors. She loves her class and is really learning the basics of swimming. She is even going underwater! Brady and his "superman" goggles...ready to swim! Swimming with the noodle - not a big fan of the noodle. Kaitlyn - underwater. You can just see the top of her head Kaitlyn just up from underwater, removing her Dora goggles Working on her arm circles Making a silly face.... Getting ready to jump.....1,2,3 There he goes - he does love to jump!

May Fun

We have a had some busy weeks! Here are some pictures from our recent fun this month!  We won tickets at a silent auction to the Cards game. Our seats were in The Bank of America Club. The kids had a blast at the game and loved seeing the fireworks. We saw 2 homeruns in the 4 innings we stayed!
