After receiving a phone call wednesday evening from a wonderful friend from Cincinnati - I discovered we were having visitors to St. Louis! My friend Sara and her son Alex came to St. Louis for the weekend and we had a TON of fun! They had us over to their hotel (Sara's husband was also here on business) to go swimming - which the kids loved. Today we went to the St. Louis Science Center to check out the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit - which again was a big hit!

Well...I've been wanting to do it and I've joined a team (the Movin' Mama's) and set a goal! I am walking for March of Dimes in the March for Babies April 24, 2010 at Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. Lat week we ventured out to the St. Louis Science Center. Kaitlyn loves the Discovery Room there where they have all sorts of interactive things for toddlers and preschoolers to get in to! Kaitlyn's newest passion is for Dinosaurs! She loved playing with them and seeing the BIG one outside the DINO exhibit. We didn't get to see it, so I guess we'll be going back this week. Preschool this week was also an adventure - DINO WEEK! Thank goodness - she had a blast, but I was told to leave, so there are few pictures. She's becoming more and more independent every day! Brady is officially too big for the baby bath tub...he was kicking and rolling himslef out of it - so I had to do the unthinkable and put him the BIG bathtub. He's sitting up by himself now, so he did a great job. He loved playing in the water and being able to kick and splash to his heart's desire! Pictures are below and a video was posted a few days ago. Brady is now too big for the baby bath tub so we carefully sit him in the big tub. Kaitlyn was helping last night and sneezed (for real) and Brady thought it was hilarious.

We sure have had a busy few weeks! This past week we had our friends, Sara, Troy and McKenna over to celebrate Sara's birthday. Kaitlyn and Troy water painted and made "valentine" (vanilla with red food coloring) pudding...they loved that! Kailtyn and Brian also had fun playing in the snow - it just keeps on coming. And I made a special Valentine's Day dinner for my Valentine's - complete with the wine we brought back from Italy when we went in September 2008.

Kaitlyn was eating fruit snacks and making Brady giggle! I heard this from the kitchen and couldn't resist videoing all I could get! Enjoy!

Eventhough it's only February 3, we have been quite busy in our house! Kaitlyn made her very first Valentine's Day box for all her Valentines. She is making Princess Valentines this year and will be giving them to all of Brian's co-workers along with our homemade sugar cookies. We love having fun with the new camera - the kids are easy targets...they take such cute pictures and video. And Kaitlyn has taken an interest in helping me cook! Tonigh she helped me make "mini-pizzas". We used sandwich thins (like buns, but really think and only 100 calories), pizza sauce and cheese, green pepper and onion (only on mine because Kaitlyn said she didn't "yike" those!). She did so well spreading the sauce and sprinkling the cheese. She said Mommy was to put them in the oven beacuse it was TOO HOT (and she waved at the oven). They turned out super yummy! I think this will be something we make quite often in our house. Enjoy the pictures.
