Kilbane Happenings

The kids and I arrived in Atlanta late Wednesday night. Brian was still in Charlotte so we stayed at my cousin Holly's house for a few days. We did a school tour at Queen of Angels in Roswell, GA and did a quick tour of the area looking at homes for sale. Brian got in Friday and we met him at his apartment. Saturday was out day wit the realtor to look at new home construction and homes for sale in the Kennesaw area (we are touring St. Catherine of Siena there tomorrow). Then saturday night we went to the medieval knights dinner show in Duluth. The kids loved this! It was a great meal and great entertainment! We want to Easter mass this morning at the before mentioned St. Catherine of Siena, had a great brunch and the went back to one of the new neighborhoods. This afternoon we went to the World of Coke! It was so fun hearing about the future and tasting all then different coke brands from around the world! Below are some pics of our fun weekend!

Here are the Clark Academy St. Patrick's Day float dancers. You'll see glimpses of Kaitlyn on the back of the float. She was so cold! Someday our little Kaitlyn will be one of, as she calls them, the "big" girls dancing on the float!

Here are some more photos from our trip to Arizona. The kids really enjoyed learning about a new place. They were always asking questions about plants and animals. We love being able to take our kids to new places and teach them new and exciting things about different parts of our country. 6:30am flights mean naps on the plane (notice Brady's head...he's asleep on Brian's lap) Phoenix Zoo  At our resort...it was so nice to see greenery and colorful flowers! At the Railroad Museum park. This place was so cool! It had a great outdoor playground with lots to do as well as a miniature train ride, carouse rides and museum about the railroad that come through Arizona. The kids loved it as did we since it gave us something to do in the morning while it warmed up a bit before heading to the pool.  BASEBALL GAME! Tuesday night we headed to Goodyear Ballpark for the Reds vs. Dodgers game - the Reds' and Indians' facilit...

This past week, the kids were in spring break from school. We decided to do a family trip to someplace sunny and warm! The desert is good for that....and it helps that there's a lot to do there too. We flew in early Monday and returned to chilly St. Louis last night. While we were there we checked out the Phoenix Zoo where the kids loved the camel rides. We saw two spring training games at Goodyear Ballpark (the Reds and the Indians share a facility). Our resort had a great pool with a lazy river, water slide and mini golf. We were lucky that the weather was in the 80's and 90's! Here are a few pictures from our trip. These are just the highlights- I'll post more from my camera soon.
