Kaitlyn Preschool Update/Upcoming events

Hi All - I just posted pictures from our amazing Hawaii trip. We were gone for 10 days the beginning of September and it was an great trip! Kaitlyn and Brady stayed behind in St. Louis and had a rotation of grandparents here to play with them while we were away! We are so thankful for our wonderful parents who love our kids SO much and are able to come and help us when we need them!
Kaitlyn is having a great time in preschool. My last post in August was of her first day - which was tough one for her and mommy! She took a few weeks to adjust, but now she loves it and enjoys going on tuesdays and thursdays. She is learning all sorts of new things - letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. She even gets to take gym, art and music class. When I pick her up she has a plethora of things to tell me about her class, Mrs. Mary (her teacher) and Mrs. Katie (the aide) and all the things that they do during the day.
Brady is a growing, boisterous, full of energy 15 month old. He's not walking yet, but is cruising along anything and everything that stands still and will get him from one place to the next. And his crawling has taken on a whole new speed - F-A-S-T!! I can hardly keep up with him! He is even doing a little talking, although its hard to get a word in edge wise with his sister - the chatterbox!
We have lots of fun things planned for the upcoming months - Brian and I are headed to Vegas for a short trip the beginning of October, a trip to Cincinnati for a long weekend with me and the kids, all sorts of halloween/fall festivities including school parties and church outings, a trip to Cleveland for a long weekend in November, Thanksgiving in Cincinnati, Humphrey Christmas in St. Louis and Kilbane Christmas in Cleveland. We are always on the go and never stop - but I wouldn't have it any other way!
Watch for more pictures to come soon and hopfully a video of Brady taking his first steps - SOON!

A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!
