First Soccer Games

Soccer is BACK! The kids started their fall schedule this weekend, both with back to back games today. Brady's game was first. He is on the under 5 co-ed team...the CYCLONES! He had a blast even scoring his first goal! We are so proud of him. He ran hard, tried hard and had fun!

Kaitlyn's game was immediately following Brady's game. She is on the under 8 team. The GALAXY! She also had a good game, learning new strategies, defensive tactics and passing the ball to teammates. We are also super proud of how well she played! She tried hard and had fun too! Looks like we will have a great season with these two soccer players.

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! Highlights from today: Hollywood Studios

Today we spent the day at Hollywood Studios. The kids enjoyed seeing all their favorite characters and catching the fun shows. They loved the Toy Story Mania ride. Brady rode the Star Wars ride with Brian and may get to participate in Jedi Training later this week.  Here are some pictures we took while waiting to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody.  Meeting the Disney Jr. Characters Jake (& the never land pirates) and Sophia the First Wreck it Ralph and Vallenope Monsters, Inc: Mike & Sulley

A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!
