Welcome Spring!

Sorry for my lack of posts lately. Since the start of March, we have been on the go, go, go! Brian took the kids to Cleveland to visit family while I got to go to Tennessee for a scrapbook overnight retreat (it was my birthday present!). I got a lot accomplished and am working on planning an overnight of my own in St. Louis! We've been busy taking advantage of the nice weather - wednesday we had 75 degrees! I can see spring around the corner! Kaitlyn has completed her second session of preschool at The Magic House and will be starting her third and final session of this school year on April 6. She is registered to begin preschool in the Fall at St. Paul school, where we go to church. Brady is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He is on the verge of crawling and would love to be running and playing with all the kids. It won't be long before he will be - I have a busy summer ahead of me, chasing after 2 little ones! I LOVE IT! New pictures will be posted soon - they are all stil...

A surpsise visit!

After receiving a phone call wednesday evening from a wonderful friend from Cincinnati - I discovered we were having visitors to St. Louis! My friend Sara and her son Alex came to St. Louis for the weekend and we had a TON of fun! They had us over to their hotel (Sara's husband was also here on business) to go swimming - which the kids loved. Today we went to the St. Louis Science Center to check out the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit - which again was a big hit!

March for Babies

Well...I've been wanting to do it and I've joined a team (the Movin' Mama's) and set a goal! I am walking for March of Dimes in the March for Babies April 24, 2010 at Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. See the banner to the right to sponsor me - help me meet my personal fundraising goal of $150! I have been very fortunate to have healty babies at birth, but others are not so fortunate. Several friends of mine have given birth to preemie's and, thankfully, they are doing well and thriving. But March of Dimes is dedicated to helping mothers give birth to healthy babies. Its a cause I feel strongly about and hope that you will help me reach my goal and cheer me on as I walk the 5K! Click on banner to the right to sponsor me!

Science Center/Preschool

Lat week we ventured out to the St. Louis Science Center. Kaitlyn loves the Discovery Room there where they have all sorts of interactive things for toddlers and preschoolers to get in to! Kaitlyn's newest passion is for Dinosaurs! She loved playing with them and seeing the BIG one outside the DINO exhibit. We didn't get to see it, so I guess we'll be going back this week. Preschool this week was also an adventure - DINO WEEK! Thank goodness - she had a blast, but I was told to leave, so there are few pictures. She's becoming more and more independent every day! Brady in the ball pit! Kaitlyn building her marble tower...she loved this activity Kaitlyn "inspecting" her brother with the magnifying glass Kaitlyn in front of the BIIIIIIG dinosaur Kaitlyn playing with little dinosaurs Digging for dinosaurs Digging at preschool for dinosaurs Kaitlyn and Miss Dorie Kaitlyn and her preschool friend, Emma

Brady in the BIG bath tub

Brady is officially too big for the baby bath tub...he was kicking and rolling himslef out of it - so I had to do the unthinkable and put him the BIG bathtub. He's sitting up by himself now, so he did a great job. He loved playing in the water and being able to kick and splash to his heart's desire! Pictures are below and a video was posted a few days ago. Enjoy!
