Happy New Year

Happy 2010 everyone! We have had a tremendous start to the new year and, looking back, had a pretty amazing 2009! Kaitlyn starts up preschool again this week, the kids and I will be taking a trip to Cincinnati for a short visit the month and I have BIG plans for all the toys that Santa dropped off at our house (along with grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles!).
Brady is doing well - weighed in at 18lbs 5oz at his 6 month check up - thriving as he gets bigger and bigger. He is just about sitting up and is grabbing at everything and even watches us eat with envy...he will be stealing our food soon, I am sure!
We have a very busy 2010 planned (I know, already?!)...Brian turned 34 (this past Wednesday), my birthday (#31) is in March, we will be attending March Madness regional games in St. Louis as well as the final four and championship game in Indianapolis, Brian and I are planning our trip to Hawaii as we celebrate 5 years of marriage - along with milestone birthdays for Kaitlyn (#3) and Brady's 1st! B-U-S-Y!
I will keep you posted on the blog with pics, video and updates as often as I can! Check back often! I hope the start to your 2010 was a nice as ours was and we look forward to a fantasic year and wish you a wonderful one as well! Here are some pics from our Christmases with family as well as New Years in Vegas.

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
