On December 26, we traveled to Cleveland to celebrate Christmas with the Kilbane side of the family. We had such a great time sharing laughs, exchanging gifts and spending time together. The kids had a great time opening their gifts, Kaitlyn even got a special gift from "Mr. C" (from the movie Polar Express) and Brady was quite entertained with all the boxes, paper and the singing Rudolph. While we were there we visited the Cleveland History Museum...Kaitlyn was amazed at the size of the Dinosaurs! Carey had her first visit to Gene's Place (a restaurant Grandpa Kilbane likes in Parma) and we celebrate the new year in style with a kiddie party at Mapleside Apple Farm. Brian and I rung in 2011 at The Ritz-Carlton where they had an informal party in thier lounge. It was a great visit and we look forward to more visits in 2011!

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
