Traditional visit to the pumpkin farm

So with the weather really changing on us over the weekend, I decided it was time to get our pumpkins for Halloween. We live near a great place for this called Stuckmeyer's Farm. They have a big playground for the kids, wagons to take with you to pick out the perfect pumpkin as well as hay rides and a market to get other fall goodies! On the weekends, they have a whole fall festival with pony rides and bouncy houses and such, but going on a monday after school was just perfect for us. No lines for the hay ride and we were able to take our time and pick out our perfect pumpkins.
Enjoy the pictures - I just had to dress my little man in his REDS gear (he's wearing his VOTTO t-shirt under his jacket)! So excited for the postseason...even though we live in St. Louis, we cheer on the Reds any chance we get (well, the kids and I do, Brian still cheers on the Indians).
Sibling love....on the hayride

Cutest pumpkins I've ever seen!

My scarecrow...

Getting Brady to look at ME and say CHEESE is darn near impossible - this was the best I could get.

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
