Anna & Elsa

In case you haven't heard, Disney has a new hot movie that's taken the world by storm. 2 Academy awards, merchandise that flies off shelves, #1 animated movie of all time at the box office.....it's kind of a big deal! 
Getting to meet the two stars - sisters, Anna and Elsa - is an amazing opportunity. 
The queen and princess are located in Norway of Epcot's world showcase. Not knowing how popular it would be, the cottage where they appear is quite small, and the crowds grow from the minute he park opens. When we left the line had grew to a 5 hour wait! 
We arrived at Epcot an hour before the gates opened. At 8:50am, the kids and I took off for Norway. Not knowing that when we arrived, we'd still have a two hour wait..... Yea, it's a big deal! 
We waited and the kids never once complained, singing songs, playing games and making new friends to pass the time. 
The moment was finally upon us! At 11:30am (2 1/2 hours after getting in line) we met Queen Elsa and Princess Anna! The moment was priceless.....watching them in awe of their favorite movie characters. They spent 5 minutes with them, talking, signing autographs and giving "warm hugs". Best 2 1/2 hours I ever spent in a line! 
Love the Disney magic!

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
