Brady starts My First School

Yesterday, Brady started his fist session of "My First School" atThe Magic House, St. Louis' Children's museum. We got >1in of snow and it took me 90 minutes to get there (normally a 20 minute drive)....we got there a little late, but so glad we made it - HE HAD A BLAST! He painted, played in the gelatin (a sensory activity), made a shapes sun catcher (the theme of the week was shapes) and made a great first impression with his teacher, Ms. Dorie (same teacher when Kaitlyn attended this program 2 years ago).
He is looking forward to going next week - CIRCUS week!!My little man is growing up so fast!

Someone was a little excited about his fist day of school!

My Picasso - will be going on my wall!

A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
