Christmas with Grammy & Pop-Pop in St. Louis

This past week (Wednesday-Sunday) Grammy and Pop-Pop (a.k.a. my parents) came to St. Louis to celebrate Christmas with me, Brian and the kids. We tried to squeeze in all the holiday events that we could and really take advantage of being together to celebrate Christmas. This year we travel to Cleveland to celebrate with the Kilbane side of the family (last year they were here)...we alternate who has to travel and when. It works for us! Below are some pictures of our time together this weekend. The kids also had their Christmas concert at school. I'll make that a separate post. I couldn't get a lot of pictures as the seating was awful and it was hard to get a photo of my kids when I had rude and inconsiderate parents standing in front of me DURING the performance (sense my tone...). Enjoy!

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!

Kaitlyn's first ATL Irish Dance performance

Since moving to Atlanta, the kids had to get involved in their activities down here. Kaitlyn started Irish dancing at Mulligan School back in August. She competed in her first Southern Region Feisanna in November. Tonight, she performed at her first community event with some of the other girls from the dance studio. She did fantastic. I took several pictures as well as a video of her dancing with the other girls. She will be doing many more performances as she made the Tara Dance Company (which is a handpicked dance team that travels the city in the Spring doing performances). We are quite proud of our little Irish dancer and can't wait to see where her dancing takes us! Here is the video...
