Letters to Santa...

Here are our letters to Santa. This is really the first year we have done this. Last year we did a picture list where the kids cut out pictures of things they wanted from toy ads and glued them to a piece of construction paper. That worked out well - but this year the template worked out great. Kaitlyn loved it and it was easier than spelling out every single word in a letter.

We just wrote out our lists for Santa and I wish we would have had this fill-in-the-blank template! Great idea!

Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese!!

Brady decided he wanted to have his birthday party with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. He invited his best buddies from school and we had a great time. He scored tons of tickets in the ticket blaster, had a Star Wars cake and had a great time playing games with all his friends. Here are some highlights from the awesome party! Highlights from today: Hollywood Studios

Today we spent the day at Hollywood Studios. The kids enjoyed seeing all their favorite characters and catching the fun shows. They loved the Toy Story Mania ride. Brady rode the Star Wars ride with Brian and may get to participate in Jedi Training later this week.  Here are some pictures we took while waiting to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody.  Meeting the Disney Jr. Characters Jake (& the never land pirates) and Sophia the First Wreck it Ralph and Vallenope Monsters, Inc: Mike & Sulley

A weekend in the city...

Kaitlyn has her first Irish dance feis here in downtown Atlanta. We decided to make a weekend of it (she dances today and tomorrow) and spend the night at the hotel where the feis is being held. We started very early this morning with Kaitlyn dancing just before 9am! She did amazing and placed in both her dances (second in jig; 3rd in reel). After she finished dancing we headed to the children's museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast trying all the cool things to do. Then we grabbed some lunch in centennial park (it's 65 degrees here so we ate outside!!) and then hit the aquarium. The kids are excited to swim at the indoor pool later and then it's more dancing in the morning!
